KC eCommerce News: KC eCommerce Core Update.
New features and increased security are set to top the bill for the new release of KC eCommerce. V2.2.16 sees the global rollout of previously bespoked functionality including "rapid re-ordering" for account customers and quantity discounts for all users.
The latest update to KC Ecommerce has now been released and includes a whole host of additional functionality and new features. KC Ecommerce now provides multiple payment methods and rapid reorder functions and much more.
Promotional codes are now available to the KC Ecommerce system, providing the ability to offer customers either a percentage or a specific value off of purchased goods. Another enhancement in the systems functionality is the new rapid reorder function, which allows customers to login to the website and place orders against previously ordered stock items in a very quick and efficient manner.
The latest release to KC Ecommerce allows your customers to obtain additional information about a product. You are able to attach files to a stock item, in PDF format, which customers can download from your website. This could be used to provide a technical specification of the product or additional images and information that the customer may want to download.
Further enhancements offer customers additional payment gateways, including PayPal as a standard payment option. This integrated payment provider holds the benefit of being a secure way of transferring funds, through a regulated third party.
Other secure features in the latest update include the ability to hide all products from customer view until the customer has logged onto the shopping cart.
KC Ecommerce also provides options for the calculation of shipping charges which are automatically added to the shopping basket order total value. The shipping charge value, which may be based upon order value, order weight and delivery zone, is determined by an industry standard zoning table and can be edited.
